Welkom op de website van Rob ten Tusscher. Sinds midden jaren zeventig ben ik actief binnen de fotografie en lid van "Fotogroep Schelfhorst" in Almelo. Diverse onderwerpen en technieken binnen de fotografie zijn in de loop der jaren aan bod geweest maar hebben zich enigszins toegespitst op twee hoofdthema`s. Zogenaamde straatportretten waarbij ontmoetingen fotografisch worden vastgelegd en daarnaast en misschien wel in tegenstelling daarmee de geënsceneerde fotografie. Hierbij wordt met min of meer willekeurige voorwerpen een nieuw beeld opgebouwd en vastgelegd.  Dat het plezier om in iedere situatie te willen fotograferen daarbij nog steeds aanwezig is mag blijken uit de diverse portfolio`s. Welcome to the website of Rob ten Tusscher. I have been active as a photographer and an active member of "Fotogroep Schelfhorst" in Almelo (The Netherlands) since the 1970's. Although a broad series of photographical subjects and techniques are applied, over the years my work has become somewhat focused on two major themes. In so-called streetportraits social-encounters with people from all over the world and all branches of society are visualized. The second theme, perhaps a bit in contrast with the first, is conceptual photography where images are created using arbitrary objects from our daily life.
